At this weeks SAC training, Donna Boruch, from the Office of Service Quality, stressed the importance of the SAC and SAF relationship.  She also advised the attendees that the SAC and SAF By-laws need to be submitted through the SAC Documentation Upload on the SBBC SIP.
 
If you have the school by-laws, please ask your SAC Chair who they should be given to to upload onto the district website.  There is a specific spot for the by-laws to appear.  By having them uploaded, along with the SAC information, everything will be in one place and schools will no longer have to worry about not finding a copy or for Area Chairs to maintain them.
 
This is a good time for all schools to review their School Advisory Forum By-Laws.  
The template is available at:  http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/ospa/initiatives.asp?initiative_id=15  in the event you cannot find one at your school.  Please make sure they are voted on at a SAF meeting.
